BRP- Rotax visit 13 May I
hope you're well. I just wanted to take the opportunity
to give you some feedback with regards to the Spyder
Rotax Homecoming event.
There were more than 500 Can-Am Spyder roadster owners
(and 325 Spyder vehicles) from 17 different countries
who rallied together in Gunskirchen for the Pan-European
Spyder roadster homecoming event. You can find further
details of the official news release at: http://www.brp.com/en-GB/about-us/newsroom/News-Details.html?ArticleID=7637c094-a65a-45a7-9180-a519e5441532
I also thought it would be good to send you a quote
from an email that I received from one of our UK Spyder
customers who attended the event for your info: "My
thanks go to you and all the BRP team for organizing
a fantastic weekend we could not have been looked
after better, the hospitality was superb and the opportunity
of visiting the factory was great. The Company generosity
in looking after everyone was in my opinion second to
none and the gesture of a free fill up of fuel before
departing just emphasized the commitment to customers
that was apparent throughout
The Spyder ran faultlessly
for the 4000Km round trip yes I made a few detours
on the way down and back and had a great 10 days touring
as part of the trip despite the efforts of the unseasonably
cold and wet weather in Germany and Austria."
I am still waiting to receive photographs from the
official event photographer (hence the delay in coming
back to you as I was hoping to send some pics to you
at the same time) however as soon as I receive these
I will send a selection through to you to post on your
site as you wish.
All the best,
Maria Whitlock

Did
you experience the 'Y' Factor....... a
cluster of UK Spyder's
|
New pictures from BRP see events,
new members and photo's.
Hi my name is Jeff
I'm a Spyder owner since October 2008, below is the
picture of my baby coming home.
With the help of Martin at Australian
Spyder Ryders I have pinched the detail (with his approval)
for this web site which I think is the first in the
UK. The main reason for this is that there are so many
more owners down there and look forward to our collaboration,
I hope to do something similar with a site in the USA
so that we can pool our knowledge and information.
If you are a UK owner
we need you and your input for the site.
Spyder owners are a group of like minded
people who all enjoy the fun of riding the BRP Can Am
Spyder Roadsters . There is no other road going vehicle
like it.
We hope to meet regularly for social
events and planned rides of both short and medium duration.
Please follow the links above to view
our upcoming events, latest news or to contact us.

PLEASE - Send us your photos for the
gallery page.

Why Spyder?
To quote one road tester, Tim Blair.
"The potential market for the Spyder in Australia
is immense. There's any number of former motorcyclists
who crave open-air travel without risking contact
with open-wound gravel."
Another said "Because it's a three-wheeler,
the Spyder will go around corners faster than you realize,
and neither rain-swept pavement nor oily freeway
ramps will ever hold the same terror they do when you're
riding a two-wheeler. "
And "Zero to 100km/h acceleration
in 4.5 seconds is comparable with fellow two-seaters
like the, er, Porsche 911 GT3 and Mercedes-Benz SL55
AMG. "
